Foldable phones used to be criticized for being bulky compared to regular smartphones. Even the thinnest ones were around 11.2mm thick and weighed about 260 grams. But now, with the Honor Magic V2, it's a whole different story. When folded, it's just 9.9mm thick and weighs 231 grams, making a big difference in terms of portability and comfort.

Display

The cover screen of the Honor Magic V2 is 7.92 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 2376 x 1060 pixels. When you open it up, you'll find a bigger 6.43-inch screen with a resolution of 2344 x 2156 pixels. Both screens are high-quality OLED panels with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and vibrant colors. Honor also added 3940Hz PWM Dimming to both screens for better viewing.

Performance

Honor Magic V2 is powered by the latest version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Honor is likely talking about the advanced version of this chip, which has Cortex-X3 "Prime" cores clocked at 3.36GHz.
