Acer offers two display options for the Swift Go 14: a Full HD IPS panel and a stunning 2.8K OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The OLED display is the clear winner, offering deeper blacks, richer colors, and improved viewing angles. The 90Hz refresh rate provides a smoother user experience, especially when scrolling or gaming.

The Swift Go 14 lives up to its name with a sleek and lightweight aluminum chassis. It has a thin profile that makes it easy to slip into your bag, and the hinge allows for a full 180-degree range of motion, perfect for presentations or collaboration. The included fingerprint reader adds a layer of security. While some reviewers would have preferred more color options beyond silver, the overall build quality feels sturdy and premium.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The Acer Swift Go 14 (2024) packs a 65Wh battery for extended use. It also supports fast charging up to 100W via USB-C Power Delivery, and conveniently comes with a 65W Type-C adapter in the box.

In my daily use involving document editing, video streaming, and light Photoshop work, I achieved a solid 6 to 6.5 hours of battery life. This is impressive for an Intel laptop, and I'm content with the results.

However, if you primarily use your laptop for watching movies and shows, you might find last year's OLED model even more suitable due to its potentially superior battery life.
